Mental Health First Aid Training.

Mental health first aid is the help provided to a person who is developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis. The first aid is given until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves. CMT Psychology offers the 12-hour Standard Mental Health First Aid. This is suitable for any interested adult and is a great way to increase awareness of mental health issues in the workplace.

You will learn how to assist an adult who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves, using a practical, evidence-based action plan.

This course is based on guidelines developed through the expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems and professionals. Our workshops are an interactive and safe space for everyone to learn and engage.
